Instructions for the course spanning task-3: provide a draft of the Design section for your research proposal, to include:
Data collection. Specifically, what processes are proposed to collect the data to answer the research question? What type of sampling will be used (purposeful or some type of random sampling)? Explain where the sample will be derived?
Instrumentation. For example, if a survey instrument is used, with the survey be extant or self-generated? How will reliability and validity be assessed? If interviews are used to collect data, how would the interview questions be developed?
Procedures. Briefly explain how you would conduct the study. In other words, provide an overview of how you gain access to your sample and the procedures you would follow to collect and analyze data.
Analysis. The type of Analysis to be performed. For example: Quantitative examples include regression analysis, chi-square, analysis of variance. Qualitative examples include phenomenology, case study, grounded theory. Mixed examples include convergent parallel mixed methods, explanatory sequential mixed methods, exploratory sequential mixed methods.
