Briefly describe what the source is (a government website, a scholarly paper, etc.).

n this assignment, you will work to gather online sources that provide data and propose solutions to a specific social issue of gun violence. The source should provide or refer to research (data), not just unsupported opinions about the issue. Also, please do not include any hateful sources that target vulnerable groups or promote violence. FROM THIS SOURCE YOU SHOULD DO A summary THAT must:
-Briefly describe what the source is (a government website, a scholarly paper, etc.). How do we know the source is valid? For example, is the source a peer-reviewed journal? Does the source have any particular biases or political leaning?
-Give an overview of the information in, or purpose of, the online resource.
-Briefly summarize what the resource advocates (or implies) to be done to address your issue.
-Briefly identify the data provided in support of the resource’s position.Note: You must write the summary in full sentences, addressed to uninformed readers (such as your friends or family); do not use bullet points.
Please make sure your source has these three Rs: 1) Readability, 2) Research, and 3) Reliability. 1) You choose articles that are not too filled with jargon and, rather, express important matters related to your topic in clear, concise language that could be easily understood by any first year students (including ESL learners); 2) Your article features recent research (ideally from with in the last 5 years) that highlights some key points of interest related to your topic; 3) Your article comes from a source that is widely recognized as reliable.
I recommend starting with the sites below when searching for online resources. However, you are also welcome to look elsewhere.

I hope I can get this same writer to complete the rough draft and final powerpoint as soon as the teacher posts her instructions. This part was great! Thank you so much.
