FIU’s Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) program Links to an external site. has a newsletter, which will start a new “Student Spotlight” section that will highlight FIU students’ experiences writing across the curriculum. To promote the student badge, the WAC team has decided to select and feature student writers who have successfully earned the badge. This assignment asks you to compose your thoughtful responses to the reflection questions listed below so that it might be featured in an upcoming “Student Spotlight.” This assignment will allow you to:

Reflect on your experience going through the badging module content
Describe ways as you see writing conventions differ across disciplines
Recognize rhetorical contexts of disciplinary writing
Articulate the role of feedback in the process of writing
Identify some discipline-specific writing conventions you have observed while working towards this badge
