– Beowulf killing Grendel for to exact revenge for Hrothgar after he killed Hrogthgar’s people.
– Grendel’s mother going after Beowulf and Hrothgar’s men to avenge her son’s death.
– Beowulf going after Grendel’s mother after she kills Hrothgar’s men.
