Here we will explore the story “The Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allen Poe and the portrayal of the protagonist Montressor as played by famous actor Vincent Price in a very old version of this suspense/horror story. 1)Is Vincent Price’s interpretation close to what you imagined when you read the story?
2) How does Price convey the sense of the narrator as unreliable, ie: either justified in his revenge or simply as a madman?
